Dr. Mullis was awarded the Nobel Prize for his invention of the Polymerase Chain Reaction (the PCR test). He said on the video, “And with PCR if you do it well you can find almost anything in anybody. It starts making you believe in the Buddhist notion that everything is contained in everything else. If you can amplify one single molecule up to something that you can really measure, which PCR can do, then there’s just very few molecules that you don’t have one single one of them in your body. So that could be thought of as a misuse of it; to claim that it is meaningful.”

“The use of this PCR Test which they used to diagnose viral infections was absurd. Even the inventor, who won a Nobel Prize for it, told us it was not suitable for that purpose but that is what the government was doing . . . The test they have used, the inventor, Kary Mullis . . . has said repeatedly, because people have been misusing his test for years, that the PCR test is not a suitable test for working out whether you have a clinical infection. It just works out the presence or absence of something . . . We are animals and we live in an environment in which there are lots of organisms, so there is probably one copy of every virus that exists probably around me, one copy so tiny. But PCR test is a very sensitive test and so he (Dr. Mullis) said you can find almost anything in almost anybody if you run enough amplification cycles.”
